This gallery will contain works of young artists ages 4-14. Having been a teacher for so many years, I still have a passion for working with children and adults in helping them express themselves through drawing and painting. The artists work from actual still lifes , personal photos , verbal discussions of concepts and ideas and when possible, outside in the open air for natural inspiration. Enjoy the many wonderful works of these young artists. They make me smile and perhaps you too!

With a bit of "Venice" history, the artists designed unpainted Venice masks. Using acrylic gouche, paint pens, assorted materials they completed their creations on time for the seasons Halloween celebration.

The next work,11x14 board, the artists studied individual still lifes of pumkins and gourds with the option of adding a "touch of the season". We continued to work with the acrylic gouche.

September has arrrived and school has started..the young artists have returned. They began their first work of the year drawing a still life of a lemon using a black marker. After this warm up, we proceeded to redraw the lemon using a watercolor pencil on 12x12 canvas, and painted using gouche acrylic.
